Home Security System Consumer Reports

Looking to buy a cordless phone system, a single line. The basic package should have a telephone answering system.?
Of basic configuration must also be able speaker and call problem, even if the phone is misplaced. ID must be able to see the caller (better if it announces the caller). I have a Radio Shack, but returned because it was cash in his apartment. My house is 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, but I have found no interference in any direction. The system should be extensible to add 2 or 3 more terminals. I think digital is supposed to be better than analogue for security reasons but has a better voice quality analog by Consumer Report. You can also see where a headphone jack would be useful for me. I have no idea if 2.4 or 5.8 or 1.9 GHz is the best. (I see the 1.9 GHz and DECT units in any store yet.) SO HAS ANYONE BOUGHT A MODEL recently with my SPECS and was satisfied with the product?
